for the past several mornings, i have been waking up to 96.7, a country music station. while i was not previously a fan of country music, i was too lazy to change the dial from its original frequency. i have not used my radio alarm clock since i lived in austin, where 96.7 is home to the ubiquitous KISS FM. after these few days, i have to say that country music is growing on me. i've always sort of liked rascal flatts and carrie underwood, but i thought it was due to their sound having a heavier pop influence. now, i'm finding that the rest of country isn't so bad. it's definitely a lot more creative than anything 50 cent could produce. this music video is one of the most poignant i've seen:

107.5 has been my default station as of late. Ace of Base, MC Hammer, JLo...some old stuff, some current stuff...
