TGIT! despite the fact that i have 2 finals that i am not ready for within the next 10 days, i am having a pretty good day. i woke up at 7am to go run. i got my circle lenses in. i have a job lead. i bought WM stock at a good price. and now, i'm cracked out, meaning that when i finally start studying, the pain of learning taxation will not be felt as acutely. yay!

it is true that friends come and go. it's a universal phenomenon, experienced by anyone who has had the privilege of allowing others to touch their lives. whether people grow apart from conflict, different life goals, or lack of contact, learning to accept that some friends will cease to play a significant role in your life will allow you to move on. it is sad, but natural. you can keep the memories and the lessons you learned, and cherish even more the friends that are still there.
every day, i gain a renewed perspective on what i would like to achieve in this life. i was by no means lost to begin with; i have from the beginning been a highly goal-oriented individual. but as the days pass and my entrance into the real world becomes closer, the process by which i will fulfill my dreams becomes more and more transparent. i speak not only of my professional career, but my personal life as well. i am no longer afraid to admit to, or indulge in my personal frivolities, weaknesses, and secret yearnings. if i want it bad enough, i will make it happen.
