i think it's safe to say that school kicked my ass this week. the constant stream of caffeine flowing through my veins since sunday was no match for the effort required to survive these last several days.... i think all those long nights poring through tiresome pages of business books actually caused me to cycle through the 5 stages of grief. no more all-nighters in the SOM!

on occasion, my inner girly girl makes an appearance and forces me to buy things i would usually consider contemptibly frivolous. one such incident occurred a couple of weeks ago and i now find myself the somewhat sheepish owner of a MAC 187.
i ebayed this $42 make-up brush and am pleased to find this splurge was well worth the cost :) if this trend continues, i may find myself investing in an uber-fancy mason pearson hair brush one day, so let's hope my girly side goes into remission soon.

i think it's safe to say that the two of us would have been better off being abducted by aliens this week, than go through the treacherous hours of school and work. i almost got burned out. not to mention my the veins on the right side of my head started to pop out (seriously) because of the i-want-to-die headache i had wednesday through friday.
when i first saw "MAC" i immediately thought of Apple. then i saw the picture and thought it was a microphone. now that i know it is a make-up brush i going to pretend you paid $42 for an Apple microphone.
