i feel old.

i am 25. the gravity of my age is finally beginning to hit me. it is like a punch to the gut - sharp, unexpected, and alarming. where did the time go? am i squandering my youth? have i already squandered my youth? i feel so far behind my peers - while they are advancing in their careers, getting married, having babies... i remain static. i am the same person i was 5 years ago. i am not an adult.

showing off my lovely depotted eyeshadows:

depotting these eyeshadows was a long and tedious process. it involved five 3-eyeshadow trios that had to be flat ironed, exacto-knived, extracted, labeled, and magnetized. the ones with the uneven surfaces are the ones that cracked and had to be mashed back together with isopropyl. sadly, despite the great effort i put into assembling this palette, i will probably only use 3 of the 15 colors. ahh well, they're still pretty to look at!

to relate both parts of your entry...

i am 25 and still do not wear make-up.

growing up is overrated, as i probably tell you each year. why are we in such a hurry, anyway? with growing up comes decisions and responsibilities...and who wants that? the only decision i want to make is if i want salt with my tequila. :)

sooo, when you gonna come over and not act grown up with me?!

don't feel old just quite yet. i'm still so indecisive about my new job. in some ways, i appreciate my youth and young voice. but then my boss is 33 and wants me to act like i am 40. the medical industry is eating me alive. appreciate being 25 with no responsibilities!
