i am turning over a new leaf. it's been a long time coming, but i am finally doing it.
i still believe conflict severs bonds more than it brings people together. people can come to an understanding, a resolution... but they don't forget.
"things change." what an understatement for one of the most enduring tenets of life.
i'm working out regularly for the first time in my life. i lost 5 pounds in the last couple of months. that's it - no more; probably less. but, it has apparently made a big difference. thank goodness for the illusion of dramatic change on a small frame.
there is no point dealing with the crazies. say this, do that... they are never ones to be happy or appeased. the best way is to leave them with their own thoughts.
i quit "work." now i miss it.
i have unlimited texts now! it's about damn time. i feel 200% more connected to the world. unfortunately, this also means i have to reevaluate whether the iphone and its touchscreen will make it into my life. june 9th @ the moscone center - steve jobs, you had better come out with something incredible.
the more business jobs i look at, the more i think i should have gone to med school. this was my choice, though, and i am proud that i opted to break the mold by deciding my own future. now i can say that the mistakes i make in life will truly be my own.

if soreness was a measure of pounds lost, i think i lost like 10 lbs from running yesterday! but it's not, and i probably haven't lost a damn pound. in fact, i have gained like 5 pounds from eating at The Counter all the damn time! But oh so good! Wanna go back with me? :)
