aren't these kittens adorable?? i wish i could adopt one, but something tells me cords would not like a little feline sister.

i guess it's time to lose some weight. "pregnant" and "pillsbury dough boy" are not descriptions i'd like to be remembered by - especially when the phrase my team members were supposed to guess was "washboard abs."

many situations try my patience, and i can feign tolerance in most, but man... there is no quicker way to draw my ire than to be condescendingly self-righteous. these people can make me go from pleasant to bitch in 3 seconds.

so... mac book pro updates are widely expected later this morning (5/5), but i think it's going to be a letdown. hopefully apple will announce something more exciting than santa rosa and LED backlit screens (both of which by now should have been standard... and have already been incorporated into a pretty 13.3" "ultraportable" laptop by DELL) by WWDC, but somehow i doubt it. if by some freak chance they do come out with an exciting MBP (*ahem* 12" widescreen), i will be the first person in line to purchase one.

summer school wouldn't be so bad if my classes weren't all at NIGHT. i swear, night classes ruin everything - my sleeping patterns (i sleep in SO late these days), my study habits, and my eating habits (at 1 meal a day, you'd think i'd lose weight, but nooo).

there have been many instances where i've known the answer to a question and have not offered a response, and other times when i've given a right answer only to be erroneously corrected. i don't like questioning my own conviction or being made to feel stupid - it's a little bit insulting and slightly bruising to the ego, but feels so good when it turns out i'm right :)

movies to see: pirates 3, shrek 3, knocked up, oceans 13. yeah, it's been awhile since cinemark and i were last acquainted.
