i'd been looking forward to TX/OU weekend since the beginning of the semester. it's too bad school had to get in the way of fun.... what was supposed to be an enjoyable weekend of hanging out with friends, partying, and cheering on my alma mater... quickly turned into a massive disappointment when i realized that if i were to take full advantage of this past weekend, i would fail all of this upcoming week's graded assignments. TX/OU could not have come at a worse time. nevertheless, i managed to have my fair share of fun... one might even say, a little too much fun.
friday - state fair time! jello shots in the car for breakfast = drunk by 3pm. hungover by 6. corn dogs, hot dogs, lemonade... lots of sweating. night time fun at club che, lots of old faces, more drunkenness.
saturday - game time! viewing party at duke's with the alpha sigs, then off to dmok's for the 4th quarter. family guy, poker, yummy leftover maggiano's, and then night time fun at karma. many more old faces, more drunkenness. ihop with a bunch of sleepy AEs, an unfortunate incident involving a forgotten set of keys in a departed car, home at 6am.
sunday - study study study. group meeting. panic!
i'm never drinking this much again. not to say i imbibed excessively quantity wise, but i did maintain a steady buzz for a large percentage of the weekend. i do not think drinking for such an extended period of time is good for productivity. or my liver.

anyway, glad you were able to come out and play! i am so glad you have mastered the art of drinking - you are truly my friend now. :) i really do wish your schooling and my working didn't consume so much of our time. i miss hanging out with you all the time...why can't it be like college when we could spend 5+ hours doing absolutely nothing, feel bad for wasting time for a whole 5 seconds, and then go on laughing for another 5+ hours about stupid things?
on that note, good luck with your slew of tests and projects and papers! hope they all go well...and by that i mean, i hope you live to see the end of them all...
awww! thanks for coming out this weekend to the things i was at..since my lame self sleeps so early from drinking so early. hahaha. i am glad i got to see you and get many pictures in. love the photos! i hope to see you again soon. but good luck on your tests this week!
