i'm getting better at undercutting my obstinance - taking into consideration the opportunity costs of keeping to what's comfortable, or what is simply available, and even considering the effects of being blind-sided by flashy entities offering little more than glitzy exteriors and dubious promises of happiness.
it makes sense, and it doesn't. some things are inexplainable. it's realistic and disappointing, but may be for the best. perhaps at a different time.
